An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
