The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in power within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and presented the first table of heroes who will separate from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the group reach places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them few options but to travel to the remote area in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can look forward to learning which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
